How a booking comes together

Nothing to pay up front: the first step is simply a request. We look at the request and send back an offer with the price for your exact dates. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. From 7 days, the weekly rate takes over. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.

The rules, briefly

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.
