Renting the 2012 Kia Optima
Want to know if the 2012 Kia Optima suits a car with a driver? Read on. Chauffeur bookings are by the hour, two hours minimum; send a request and we reply with the vehicle we can offer and the price.
Reading the spec sheet
Power comes from the 2.4L 4-cylinder hybrid, driving through a 6-speed automatic. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.
At 6.5 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 20 litres of fuel. That works out to about $10.08 per 100 km at our price setting.
Room inside
As a mid-size car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. With 283 litres of luggage space by the EPA's measure, it takes about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.
Who the Optima suits
It suits stop-and-go driving and rideshare or delivery work. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.
Getting the car booked
A booking with us starts as a request that you send without paying. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.
Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.
Before you rent
You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. If any driver is under 26, a young driver fee is added for each day. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.
Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.
