About the 2016 Lexus ES
Limo service and the 2016 Lexus ES: the figures first, then how to rent it from CarmaCars. Chauffeur bookings are by the hour, two hours minimum; send a request and we reply with the vehicle we can offer and the price.
Under the hood
It is powered by the 2.5L 4-cylinder hybrid, with front-wheel drive. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.
By the EPA's combined rating of 5.9 L/100 km, 300 km takes about 18 litres. At our price setting, driving 100 km costs about $9.15, and a 300 km weekend about $27.45.
Best uses
It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.
Practical details
It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. With 340 litres of luggage space by the EPA's measure, it takes about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.
Our ES cars
A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Pick it up from us for free, or have it brought to you.
What happens when you ask for a car
Choose the car and your times, then send a request. A request does not hold the car, and it costs nothing. Our team answers with an offer: the confirmed car, the dates and the full price. Pay when you approve, not a minute before.
Each listing shows the daily, weekly and monthly rate of that car. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.
Driver basics
Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.
The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
Make a request
Look through the cars, choose one, and send a request when it suits you.
