Renting the Lucid
For a car with a driver, here is what the Lucid brings, and how to request one. Chauffeur bookings are by the hour, two hours minimum; send a request and we reply with the vehicle we can offer and the price.
Specs, explained
The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.
Who it is for
It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.
Can you rent one?
Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. We have no Lucid on the site right now. Send a request with the model you want, and we look for one for your dates. The handover is in person, at your address or at our location.
Driver requirements
An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.
You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.
Booking in plain terms
You start by asking: a car, a start time, an end time. Asking is free. We send the offer to your account and your email, with the total shown. You pay only once you approve the offer.
The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.
When you know your dates
Find a car you like and ask for your dates.

Limo service: the Lucid
Can I rent a Lucid in Toronto?
Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $0 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
