Java and the Model 3

We have no location in Java; CarmaCars rents from Toronto, about 442 km away. We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Java starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here.

Frankfort, Sharples and Raab Corners are the closest places to Java on our list.

What the figures tell you

The electric motor is what moves it, with all-wheel drive. Being electric, it is quiet and quick from a stop, and it charges at home, at work or at public chargers. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

Rated energy use is 18.6 kWh per 100 km. The EPA rates its range at 507 km. Winter cold and fast highway driving cut that down. A weekend of 300 km comes to about $8.37 at our price setting.

Good uses for the Model 3

It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits city driving and anyone with charging at home or work.

Size and space

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. Luggage space is 425 litres, enough for a family's bags for a long weekend.

Our Model 3 cars

We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Getting the car booked

To book, you request the car for your dates. There is no charge to send it and no obligation. We check the calendar and your details, then send you an offer with the total. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.

Compare cars side by side by opening their pages. One booking runs up to 365 days, and a longer stay renews with a new agreement. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.

The rules, briefly

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.

Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.

When you know your dates
