What the figures tell you

Its powertrain is the electric motor with all-wheel drive. It is fully electric: no gas at all, and you return it with the charge it had at pickup. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

At 18.6 kWh/100 km, a 300 km day uses roughly 56 kWh. A full charge is rated for 507 km; plan for less in the cold. A weekend of 300 km comes to about $8.37 at our price setting.

Good uses for the Model 3

Its all-wheel drive suits winter roads and trips to ski country. It suits commuters, couples and business trips.

The Model 3 in everyday use

Being a mid-size car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. Its 425 litres of luggage space fit a family's bags for a long weekend.

Request, offer, keys

Pick your car, enter your dates and send the request. That is all you do at first, and it is free. An offer follows, with the car we confirm and the full price for your dates. Nothing is charged until you approve it and pay.

Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. A single booking can run up to 365 days. For longer, it renews month after month. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.

Who qualifies

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. We accept young drivers; those under 26 pay a daily fee. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.
