What the specs mean

Power: the electric motor; drive: all-wheel drive. It is fully electric: no gas at all, and you return it with the charge it had at pickup. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

It uses 18.7 kWh per 100 km, so 300 km takes about 56 kWh of charge. Its rated range is 488 km on a full charge; real range drops in cold weather and at highway speeds. For 1,000 km, budget about $28.10 at our price setting.

Who rents the Model 3

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

Space and size

As a mid-size car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. Luggage space is rated at 425 litres: a family's bags for a long weekend.

Can I rent it?

Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.

Booking in plain terms

You choose a car and your dates online and send a request. Sending it costs nothing. We confirm the details and send an offer. It lists the rental, any delivery and any add-ons. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.

Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.

Who can rent

Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.

When you know your dates

When the dates are set, a request gets you a real price.
