Limo service and the 2016 Tesla Model S
Searching for limo service and the 2016 Tesla Model S? Here is what the car is like and how to rent one from us. Chauffeur bookings are by the hour, two hours minimum; send a request and we reply with the vehicle we can offer and the price.
Specs, explained
Under the hood: the electric motor and all-wheel drive. It is fully electric: no gas at all, and you return it with the charge it had at pickup. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.
It uses 21.0 kWh per 100 km, so 300 km takes about 63 kWh of charge. A full charge is rated for 507 km; plan for less in the cold. A 300 km round trip costs roughly $9.45 at our price setting.
Good uses for the Model S
It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits people who want to try an electric car before buying one.
Space, size and seats
As a large sedan, it is easy to drive and park in the city. Its 736 litres of luggage space fit bulky luggage, a stroller or sports gear.
Renting the Model S from CarmaCars
Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.
Booking in plain terms
Send the request with your dates first; no money changes hands at that stage. The offer we send lists the car we confirm and the full price. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.
The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.
What you need to rent
Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.
If you have no auto policy and no card benefit, the CarmaCars Protection Plan is the third option, priced in your offer. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.
When you know your dates
Tell us your dates and where you want the car, and we will do the rest.
