What we ask of drivers

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.

What happens when you ask for a car

A request is free and takes a few minutes: the car, your dates, and pickup or delivery. Then we send an offer. The offer shows the price before 13% HST and the deposit. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. Rent for a day, a week or up to 365 days in one booking. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.
