The Corolla and Yameri

If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Yameri. Yameri is about 3,364 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area.

Close by are San Francisco el Ocatal, San Francisco el Ocotal and Río Tiltepec, each with its own page.

The numbers in plain words

Its 1.8L 4-cylinder drives through an automatic (CVT). It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

At 7.5 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 23 litres of fuel. At our price setting, 1,000 km costs about $116.30.

Good uses for the Corolla

It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

Room inside

As a mid-size car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. With 368 litres of luggage space by the EPA's measure, it takes about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Getting one from us

None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Getting the car booked

Start with a request. Choose the car, the pickup time and the return time, and send it without paying anything. You get an offer that says exactly what the rental costs before tax. Approving the offer and paying it confirms the booking.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.

Licence, age and card

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.

Questions first?

The quickest way to a price is a request with your dates. It costs nothing.
