A note on Java

If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java. Java is about 3,178 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area.

If you are close to Java, you may also be near Klinefelter, Ibis and Arrowhead Junction.

The numbers in plain words

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo is what moves it, with front-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

At 7.9 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 24 litres of fuel. Every 100 km costs about $13.83 in fuel at our price setting.

The A4 in everyday use

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. Its length is 4.76 m, so it is on the long side. Check the size of a tight parking spot. Luggage space is 368 litres, enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Is it right for your trip?

It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

Renting the A4 from CarmaCars

Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Driver basics

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.

Booking in plain terms

A request is free and takes a few minutes: the car, your dates, and pickup or delivery. A person checks the request and sends you an offer with the full price. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.

Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. Book one day, one week, or up to 365 days at once. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.
