The A4 and Codroy

If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Codroy. We have no location in Codroy; CarmaCars rents from Toronto, about 1,602 km away.

Shoal Point, Cape Anguille and Searston are the neighbouring places on our list.

What the figures tell you

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid does the work, through a 7-speed automatic. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

The combined figure, 8.3 L/100 km, means roughly 25 litres for 300 km. In energy, every 100 km costs about $12.87 at our price setting.

Inside and out

Being a compact car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. For luggage, 340 litres means about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who rents the A4

It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.

Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates.

What you need to rent

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.

What to expect when you book

Booking starts online: pick the car, set the times, and send the request at no cost. Our offer spells out the rate, the delivery fee if any, and the deposit. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.

Questions first?

The quickest way to a price is a request with your dates. It costs nothing.
