Engine and fuel

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid with all-wheel drive is the powertrain to look at. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

For 300 km of mixed driving, expect about 25 litres, from its 8.3 L/100 km rating. A 300 km weekend costs about $38.61 in energy at our price setting.

Space, size and seats

As a compact car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. In plain terms, its 340 litres of luggage space hold about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

A good match for

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. Its all-wheel drive suits winter roads and trips to ski country.

Can I rent it?

Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Delivery to your door is available across the Toronto area.

Licence, age and card

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

Third-party liability comes with every rate. For the car itself: your own policy with OPCF 27, a card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.

Booking with CarmaCars

Your part at the start is short: choose a car and dates and send a free request. We look at the request and send back an offer with the price for your exact dates. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.
