Loaner car and the Eagle
This page joins two things: loaner car, and the Eagle in plain words. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it.
What the figures tell you
No fuel-use rating is published for this model year, so we leave those figures out.
Who it is for
It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.
Getting one from us
A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. We have no Eagle on the site right now. Send a request with the model you want, and we look for one for your dates. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.
Before you rent
An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.
The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.
Booking in plain terms
The process opens with a request from you, which costs nothing and binds you to nothing. We check the calendar and your details, then send you an offer with the total. The booking is confirmed when you approve the offer and pay it.
The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.
When you know your dates
Send your dates and we will reply with a car and a price.

Loaner car: the Eagle
Can I rent a Eagle in Toronto?
Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
