Loaner car: grey 2020 Ram 1500 TRX in Java

Renting the 2020 Ram 1500 TRX

This 2020 Ram 1500 TRX page is written for a car while yours is off the road: the car first, then renting it from us. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly.

The 1500 and Java

CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 1,639 km from Java, and does not deliver there. We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Java starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here.

Selby, Lowry and Sitka are the closest places to Java on our list.

Engine and fuel

The powertrain here is the 5.7L 8-cylinder with rear-wheel drive and an 8-speed automatic. It runs on regular gas. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.

Combined fuel use is 13.6 L/100 km: about 41 litres for 300 km. At our price setting, it costs about $21.08 to drive 100 km.

A good match for

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

Space and size

A pickup is long and tall, so plan for parking and low garages.

Renting it

Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one.

Who qualifies

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.

Getting the car booked

Pick the car and the dates that suit you, then send a request. There is no payment at that point. Next comes our offer, with the confirmed car and every charge on one page. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.

Ready to ask?

The quickest way to a price is a request with your dates. It costs nothing.
