Specs, explained

It runs the 6.2L 8-cylinder supercharged, with four-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Four-wheel drive helps on rough ground and deep snow; on dry roads it behaves like any other vehicle.

A combined rating of 19.8 L/100 km works out to about 59 litres per 300 km. A 300 km weekend costs about $103.95 in energy at our price setting.

Size and space

It is built for loads that would never fit in a trunk.

Best uses

It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

Renting this car

A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Booking, step by step

A request is free and takes a few minutes: the car, your dates, and pickup or delivery. A person replies with an offer priced for your dates, not an estimate. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. Allow 2 hours or more between your request and the pickup time.

Renting: the basics

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits differ by car. Each car's page shows its amount. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
