A note on Java

If you need it in Java itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help. CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 1,639 km from Java, and does not deliver there.

The pages for Selby, Lowry and Sitka cover the areas next door.

What the specs mean

It is powered by the 6.2L 8-cylinder supercharged, with four-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Four-wheel drive helps on rough ground and deep snow; on dry roads it behaves like any other vehicle.

At 19.8 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 59 litres of fuel. At our price setting, driving 100 km costs about $34.65, and a 300 km weekend about $103.95.

Inside and out

Being a pickup truck, it trades parking ease for a cargo bed.

When the 1500 makes sense

It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits moving day, renovation runs and anything that needs an open bed.

Our 1500 cars

Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates.

From your dates to the handover

A booking with us starts as a request that you send without paying. Our offer spells out the rate, the delivery fee if any, and the deposit. You pay only once you approve the offer.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. Allow 2 hours or more between your request and the pickup time.

Renting: the basics

We need every driver to be at least 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.

Next step
