Loaner car and the 2021 Toyota Corolla LE

Loaner car: the 2021 Toyota Corolla LE. Here is the car in plain words, and how renting one from CarmaCars works. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly.

The Corolla and Java

Java is about 1,639 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java.

Close by are Selby, Lowry and Sitka, each with its own page.

What the specs mean

Power comes from the 2.0L 4-cylinder, driving through a 10-speed automatic. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

At 6.6 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 20 litres of fuel. A 300 km round trip costs roughly $30.69 at our price setting.

Practical details

As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. The trunk holds 510 litres by the EPA's count: a family's bags for a long weekend.

A good match for

It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.

Can you rent one?

Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 7 similar cars are listed below.

Your request, our offer, your keys

First you send a request with the car and the times. No card is charged for it. We look at the request and send back an offer with the price for your exact dates. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.

Who can rent

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits differ by car. Each car's page shows its amount. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.
