A note on Java

If you need it in Java itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help. Java is about 1,639 km from our Toronto location, beyond the area we deliver to.

If you are close to Java, you may also be near Selby, Lowry and Sitka.

The figures, translated

It uses the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo and front-wheel drive. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

Combined fuel use is 7.9 L/100 km: about 24 litres for 300 km. Every 100 km costs about $13.83 in fuel at our price setting.

Good uses for the A4

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

Living with the A4

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. Its length is 4.76 m, so it is on the long side. Check the size of a tight parking spot. The trunk holds 368 litres by the EPA's count: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Rent this car

There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer.

Before pickup

Every driver must be 18 or older with an Ontario G2 or G licence. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.

How booking works

Requests come first at CarmaCars. You name the car and the dates, and we take it from there. A person checks the request and sends you an offer with the full price. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.

A request costs nothing, and the offer tells you everything.
