The 2020 Audi A4 Progressiv: Luup alternative

If you need a rental car, the 2020 Audi A4 Progressiv is one option; this page explains the car and how booking works. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.

A note on Freestone

Freestone is about 3,665 km from our Toronto location, beyond the area we deliver to. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Freestone.

Occidental, Bodega and Valley Ford are the neighbouring places on our list.

Under the hood

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo, paired with a 7-speed automatic, drives it. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

By the EPA's combined rating of 7.9 L/100 km, 300 km takes about 24 litres. Expect about $13.83 per 100 km at our price setting.

Inside and out

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. It is 4.76 m from end to end. Check the size of a tight parking spot. Luggage space is 368 litres, enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who rents the A4

It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

Getting one from us

This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer.

What happens when you ask for a car

Pick the car and the dates that suit you, then send a request. There is no payment at that point. You get an offer that says exactly what the rental costs before tax. The booking is confirmed when you approve the offer and pay it.

Compare cars side by side by opening their pages. Bookings run from one day up to 365 days at a time. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.

What to have ready

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.
