Renting for Knobs

CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 692 km from Knobs, and does not deliver there. We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Knobs starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here.

If you are near Knobs, Johnson Crossroads, Elmhurst and Union are close too.

Specs, explained

The engine is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo, with front-wheel drive and a 7-speed automatic. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

A combined rating of 7.9 L/100 km works out to about 24 litres per 300 km. In energy, every 100 km costs about $13.83 at our price setting.

Good uses for the A4

It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

The A4 in everyday use

As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. NHTSA lists it at 4.76 m long. Check the size of a tight parking spot. The EPA measures its luggage space at 368 litres, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who qualifies

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.

Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.

Booking with CarmaCars

You begin by requesting a car for your dates; the request is free. You get an offer that says exactly what the rental costs before tax. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.
