The 2021 Audi A4 Progressiv: Luup alternative

For a rental car, the 2021 Audi A4 Progressiv could fit; below, the figures and how booking works. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.

Renting for Bathurst

Bathurst is about 1,140 km from our Toronto location, beyond the area we deliver to. We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Bathurst starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here.

Around Bathurst you will also find Big River, Carron Point and Chamberlain Settlement.

The figures, translated

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, paired with a 7-speed automatic, drives it. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

Fuel use is rated 8.3 L/100 km combined, so 300 km needs about 25 litres. At our price setting, 1,000 km costs about $128.70.

Who rents the A4

It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.

What to expect from the A4

As a compact car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. Its 340 litres of luggage space fit about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Renting the A4 from CarmaCars

Driver requirements

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.

The steps

Your part at the start is short: choose a car and dates and send a free request. A staff member reads the request and sends the offer. We reply within 2 hours. Approving the offer and paying it confirms the booking.

Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.
