A note on Chocowinity

If you need it in Chocowinity itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help. We have no location in Chocowinity; CarmaCars rents from Toronto, about 935 km away.

Next door to Chocowinity are Elks Mobile Home Park, Porter Junction and Porter.

The numbers in plain words

Its 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid drives through a 7-speed automatic. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

The combined figure, 8.3 L/100 km, means roughly 25 litres for 300 km. Per 100 km, plan on roughly $12.87.

Is it right for your trip?

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

Space and size

As a compact car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. In plain terms, its 340 litres of luggage space hold about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Renting it

Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below.

What we check

You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

Third-party liability comes with every rate. For the car itself: your own policy with OPCF 27, a card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.

Booking made plain

Requests are free: choose a car, add your dates, and send it. A staff member reads the request and sends the offer. We reply within 2 hours. Approve it and the car is booked; decline it and nothing happens.

Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.
