The 2015 Audi A6: Luup alternative
Searching for Luup alternative? Here is the 2015 Audi A6: what it is like and how to rent it. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.
Specs, explained
Power comes from the 3.0L 6-cylinder turbo, driving through an 8-speed automatic. It runs on diesel, sold at most highway stations. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.
Combined fuel use is 8.1 L/100 km: about 24 litres for 300 km. That works out to about $12.56 per 100 km at our price setting.
Best uses
It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.
How big it is
As a mid-size car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. The EPA lists 453 litres for luggage, roughly a family's bags for a long weekend.
Renting the A6 from CarmaCars
None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.
Licence, age and card
From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.
Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits differ by car. Each car's page shows its amount. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.
How booking works
Every rental begins with a request from you. It costs nothing and it does not hold the car. The reply is an offer you can read in full before you decide anything. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.
Every car has its own daily, weekend, weekly and monthly rate. A single booking can run up to 365 days. For longer, it renews month after month. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.
