This 2006 Audi A8 page is written for a rental car: the car first, then renting it from us. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.
What the specs mean
It is powered by the 4.2L 8-cylinder, with all-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.
The combined figure, 13.1 L/100 km, means roughly 39 litres for 300 km. At our price setting, 1,000 km costs about $229.30.
Practical details
Being a large sedan, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. At 425 litres, the trunk fits a family's bags for a long weekend.
Who the A8 suits
It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.
Our A8 cars
A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Delivery to your door is available across the Toronto area.
How to book
To get started, send a request for the car and dates. You are not charged for it. An offer follows, with the car we confirm and the full price for your dates. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.
Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.
Licence, age and card
Drivers 18 and older can rent with a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.
Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.
One more step
Send a request with your dates, and we will come back with an offer.
