Luup alternative: the 2012 Audi Q5

This 2012 Audi Q5 page is written for a rental car: the car first, then renting it from us. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.

Under the hood

Power: the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo; drive: all-wheel drive. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

Rated at 10.5 L/100 km combined, it needs around 32 litres for a 300 km round trip. A weekend of 300 km comes to about $55.14 at our price setting.

How big it is

Being an SUV, it handles luggage, strollers and sports gear well.

A good match for

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

Renting the Q5 from CarmaCars

We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. Your offer shows any delivery fee before you pay.

How it works

Every rental begins with a request from you. It costs nothing and it does not hold the car. Someone on our team confirms the car is free for those dates and sends you an offer with every charge listed. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.

Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.

Renting: the basics

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.
