Renting: the basics

You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. We accept young drivers; those under 26 pay a daily fee. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.

Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.

How to book

Choose the car and your times, then send a request. A request does not hold the car, and it costs nothing. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. Approving the offer and paying it confirms the booking.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.
