Here is the 2018 BMW i3, for anyone after a rental car. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.
Under the hood
The powertrain here is the 0.6L 2-cylinder hybrid with rear-wheel drive and a 1-speed automatic. It is a plug-in hybrid: it runs on electricity for a short distance, then on gas like a regular hybrid. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.
For 300 km of mixed driving, expect about 20 litres, from its 6.8 L/100 km rating. On electricity alone it is rated for about 290 km before the gas engine takes over. A 300 km weekend costs about $31.62 in energy at our price setting.
Inside and out
Being a small car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. Its 425 litre trunk is enough for a family's bags for a long weekend.
When the i3 makes sense
It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.
Rent it from us

Booking, step by step
First you send a request with the car and the times. No card is charged for it. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. Your card is charged only when you approve the offer.
The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.
What you need to rent
An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.
Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.
