Renting the 2001 BMW M
Renting the 2001 BMW M as a rental car works like any rental with us: a free request, an offer, then the keys. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.
The figures, translated
The engine is the 3.2L 6-cylinder, with rear-wheel drive and a 5-speed manual. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.
At 13.1 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 39 litres of fuel. Expect about $22.93 per 100 km at our price setting.
Good uses for the M
It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.
Space and size
Low and compact, it is a car for the drive more than the cargo. NHTSA's Canadian figures put it at 4.49 m long. It fits most condo and driveway spots.
Rent it from us
If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Delivery covers the Toronto area, priced by distance in your offer; pickup from us is free.
What happens when you ask for a car
First, a request: the car you like, when you need it, and where. No payment yet. Then we send an offer. The offer shows the price before 13% HST and the deposit. Approve the offer to book the car. That is the moment you pay, not before.
Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.
Before pickup
From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.
For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.
