Luup alternative and the 2003 BMW M
Luup alternative and the 2003 BMW M: the figures first, then how to rent it from CarmaCars. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.
Under the hood
Its powertrain is the 3.2L 6-cylinder with rear-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.
Combined fuel use is 13.8 L/100 km: about 41 litres for 300 km. Per 100 km, plan on roughly $24.15.
Who rents the M
It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits a summer weekend or a special occasion more than a move.
Inside and out
As a sports car, it puts the driving first and the luggage second. At 255 litres, the trunk fits about a large suitcase and a couple of soft bags.
Our M cars
Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Meanwhile, 10 similar cars are listed below. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.
How to book
The process opens with a request from you, which costs nothing and binds you to nothing. You get an offer that says exactly what the rental costs before tax. Approve it and the car is booked; decline it and nothing happens.
The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.
What you need to rent
Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.
The CarmaCars Protection Plan is priced in your offer by car and driver age, as one of three options for damage to the car. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.
