Luup alternative: the Buick Century
Luup alternative and the Buick Century: the figures first, then how to rent it from CarmaCars. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.
Under the hood
No fuel-use rating is published for this model year, so we leave those figures out.
Living with the Century
A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway.
Best uses
It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.
Rent it from us
Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Your offer shows the delivery fee if you want the car brought to you.
What we check
Drivers 18 and older can rent with a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.
Choose before pickup how damage to the car is handled: your policy with OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.
Booking, step by step
Requests are free: choose a car, add your dates, and send it. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.
You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.
Over to you
A request costs nothing, and the offer tells you everything.

Can I rent a Buick Century in Toronto?
Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
