The 2015 Buick Encore: Luup alternative
For a rental car, the 2015 Buick Encore is one of many cars on CarmaCars, each with its own page. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.
The numbers in plain words
The 1.4L 4-cylinder turbo does the work, through a 6-speed automatic. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.
At 8.4 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 25 litres of fuel. A weekend of 300 km comes to about $39.06 at our price setting.
Practical details
The higher seat of a compact SUV gives a good view of the road in traffic.
Who rents the Encore
It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.
Can you rent one?
This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. Delivery and pickup are both options across the Toronto area.
What to expect when you book
Requests come first at CarmaCars. You name the car and the dates, and we take it from there. Our reply is an offer that lists the rate, the kilometres included and any delivery fee. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.
The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.
What to have ready
Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.
If you have no auto policy and no card benefit, the CarmaCars Protection Plan is the third option, priced in your offer. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.
Over to you
Ask for the car, read the offer, approve it if it suits you.
