Renting the Buick Regal

Luup alternative and the Buick Regal: the figures first, then how to rent it from CarmaCars. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.

Specs, explained

No fuel-use rating is published for this model year, so we leave those figures out.

Size and space

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway.

Who rents the Regal

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

Getting one from us

None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. The handover is in person, at your address or at our location.

What we need from you

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. If any driver is under 26, a young driver fee is added for each day. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.

Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car, you choose one of three options before pickup. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.

The steps

Pick your car, enter your dates and send the request. That is all you do at first, and it is free. We check the calendar and your details, then send you an offer with the total. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.

Over to you

Ask for the car, read the offer, approve it if it suits you.

Can I rent a Buick Regal in Toronto?

Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.

How old do I need to be to rent?

18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.

How much is the deposit?

Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.

What coverage do I need?

Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.

Can the car be delivered?

Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
