About the 1982 Buick Riviera
This 1982 Buick Riviera page is written for a rental car: the car first, then renting it from us. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.
The numbers in plain words
The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.
When the Riviera makes sense
It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.
Inside and out
As a mid-size car, it is easy to drive and park in the city.
Getting one from us
Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Delivery is priced by distance in your offer, and pickup from us is free.
Getting the car booked
The process opens with a request from you, which costs nothing and binds you to nothing. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.
Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. A booking can be a single day or up to 365 days. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.
Who qualifies
We need every driver to be at least 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.
Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.

Can I rent a 1982 Buick Riviera in Toronto?
Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
