About the 1982 Buick Skyhawk
If a rental car is the plan, the 1982 Buick Skyhawk is worth a look; here is why. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.
The figures, translated
No fuel-use rating is published for this model year, so we leave those figures out.
Is it right for your trip?
It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.
Room inside
As a compact car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight.
Renting it
There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.
Requirements
You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.
You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.
Your request, our offer, your keys
Send the request with your dates first; no money changes hands at that stage. You get an offer that says exactly what the rental costs before tax. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.
Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. Bookings run from one day up to 365 days at a time. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.

Can I rent a 1982 Buick Skyhawk in Toronto?
Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
