This page joins two things: Luup alternative, and the 2012 BYD e6 in plain words. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.

What the specs mean

Its powertrain is the electric motor with front-wheel drive. It is fully electric: no gas at all, and you return it with the charge it had at pickup. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

Its rating is 33.6 kWh/100 km: about 101 kWh for 300 km. Rated range: 196 km. Winter and highway speeds bring it down. A 300 km weekend costs about $15.12 in energy at our price setting.

How big it is

Its SUV body gives a high seating position and an easy load height.

Is it right for your trip?

It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy. It suits city driving and anyone with charging at home or work.

Rent this car

Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Pick it up from us for free, or have it brought to you.

The steps

To book, you request the car for your dates. There is no charge to send it and no obligation. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. The booking is confirmed when you approve the offer and pay it.

Each listing shows the daily, weekly and monthly rate of that car. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. Give us 2 hours or more before the pickup and we can usually make it work.

What to have ready

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.
