Searching for Luup alternative? Here is the 1995 Cadillac DeVille/Concourse: what it is like and how to rent it. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.
Specs, explained
Power comes from the 4.6L 8-cylinder, driving through a 4-speed automatic. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.
Combined fuel use is 13.1 L/100 km: about 39 litres for 300 km. For 1,000 km, budget about $229.30 at our price setting.
What to expect from the DeVille/Concourse
As a large sedan, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. The EPA measures its luggage space at 566 litres, roughly bulky luggage, a stroller or sports gear.
Who the DeVille/Concourse suits
It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends.

Requesting a car
Start with a request. Choose the car, the pickup time and the return time, and send it without paying anything. A person checks the request and sends you an offer with the full price. You pay when you approve, and only then.
The photos on a car's page are of that car. From 7 days, the weekly rate takes over. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.
Rules for renters
Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.
Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.
