Luup alternative and the Cadillac Escalade
Want the Cadillac Escalade as a rental car? Start here: the car in plain words, then how booking works. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.
What the specs mean
No fuel-use rating is published for this model year, so we leave those figures out.
The Escalade in everyday use
An SUV body means more headroom and a taller cargo opening than a car of the same length. The one in our fleet seats 7.
Who it is for
It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.
Getting one from us
Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. 2 of our cars match this page; each shows its rates and calendar. From $540 a day before tax, for our matching cars. Your offer shows the delivery fee if you want the car brought to you.
Checking your details
Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.
Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.
Your booking, in three steps
To get started, send a request for the car and dates. You are not charged for it. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. Nothing is charged until you approve it and pay.
Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.

Luup alternative: the Cadillac Escalade
Can I rent a Cadillac Escalade in Toronto?
Yes. We have 2 on the site now, each with its own calendar and price. Choose your dates on the car's page and send a request; nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
