Renting the 2012 Chevrolet Express
If a rental car is the plan, the 2012 Chevrolet Express is worth a look; here is why. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.
Under the hood
The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.
What the Express is like
Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk.
Good uses for the Express
It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.
In our fleet
This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.
From request to keys
Every rental begins with a request from you. It costs nothing and it does not hold the car. The reply is an offer you can read in full before you decide anything. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.
Each listing shows the daily, weekly and monthly rate of that car. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.
Who qualifies
An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.
You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.
Ready when you are
The quickest way to a price is a request with your dates. It costs nothing.

Can I rent a 2012 Chevrolet Express in Toronto?
Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
