A note on Knobs

We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Knobs starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here. Knobs is about 692 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area.

Nearby places include Johnson Crossroads, Elmhurst and Union.

What the figures tell you

The 1.5L 4-cylinder turbo, paired with a 6-speed automatic, drives it. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

Its combined rating is 7.8 L/100 km, which means roughly 23 litres for 300 km. Per 100 km, plan on roughly $12.09.

Best uses

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

Room inside

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. At 4.92 m from bumper to bumper, it is on the long side. Check the size of a tight parking spot. Luggage space is 368 litres, enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

How to book

To book, you request the car for your dates. There is no charge to send it and no obligation. The offer comes from a person, not a robot, and it carries the full price. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.

What we ask of drivers

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.
