How it works

Rules for renters

We rent to drivers aged 18 and up who hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.
