The CODA: Luup alternative
For a rental car, the CODA could fit; below, the figures and how booking works. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.
What the specs mean
No fuel-use rating is published for this model year, so we leave those figures out.
A good match for
It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.
Getting one from us
Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. Name the CODA model you want in your request, and the offer confirms what we can give you. We have no CODA on the site right now. Send a request with the model you want, and we look for one for your dates. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.
How it works
The first step is a free request: which car, which dates, and how you want to get it. You get an offer that says exactly what the rental costs before tax. Payment happens only after you accept the offer.
Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.
The rules, briefly
Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.
Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.
Over to you
A request costs nothing, and the offer tells you everything.

Luup alternative: the CODA
Can I rent a CODA in Toronto?
Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
