Luup alternative: Daihatsu

About the Daihatsu

If you need a rental car, read about the Daihatsu here, then request it. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.

Specs, explained

No fuel-use rating is published for this model year, so we leave those figures out.

Is it right for your trip?

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.

Can you rent one?

We have no Daihatsu on the site right now. Send a request with the model you want, and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.

Driver basics

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.

Choose before pickup how damage to the car is handled: your policy with OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.

Booking in plain terms

The process opens with a request from you, which costs nothing and binds you to nothing. A person checks the request and sends you an offer with the full price. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

Each listing shows the daily, weekly and monthly rate of that car. Book one day, one week, or up to 365 days at once. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.

Still deciding?

Look through the cars, choose one, and send a request when it suits you.
