Luup alternative: the 2011 Dodge Nitro
This 2011 Dodge Nitro page is written for a rental car: the car first, then renting it from us. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.
The numbers in plain words
It is powered by the 3.7L 6-cylinder, with rear-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.
Its combined rating is 13.0 L/100 km, which means roughly 39 litres for 300 km. Every 100 km costs about $20.15 in fuel at our price setting.
Who the Nitro suits
It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.
What to expect from the Nitro
It offers the space of an SUV with the height that makes loading easy.
In our fleet
None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. Delivery is priced by distance in your offer, and pickup from us is free.
How a booking comes together
Requests are free: choose a car, add your dates, and send it. An offer follows, with the car we confirm and the full price for your dates. Payment happens only after you accept the offer.
A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.
Checking your details
The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.
Choose before pickup how damage to the car is handled: your policy with OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.
Next step
Request a car, read the offer, and decide. That is the whole process.
