About the 1991 Eagle Summit
Luup alternative and the 1991 Eagle Summit: the figures first, then how to rent it from CarmaCars. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.
What the specs mean
The 1.5L 4-cylinder with front-wheel drive is the powertrain to look at. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.
It is rated at 8.1 L/100 km combined; 300 km takes about 24 litres. A 300 km round trip costs roughly $37.68 at our price setting.
When the Summit makes sense
It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.
Practical details
It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. NHTSA's Canadian figures put it at 4.32 m long. It fits most condo and driveway spots. The EPA lists 283 litres for luggage, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Your booking, in three steps
Booking starts online: pick the car, set the times, and send the request at no cost. We look at the request and send back an offer with the price for your exact dates. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.
Every car has its own daily, weekend, weekly and monthly rate. Rent for a day, a week or up to 365 days in one booking. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.
Who qualifies
We rent to drivers aged 18 and up who hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.
You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.
