The 1995 Eagle Summit: Luup alternative

If a rental car is the plan, the 1995 Eagle Summit is worth a look; here is why. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.

Engine and fuel

Power: the 1.5L 4-cylinder; drive: front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

For 300 km of mixed driving, expect about 23 litres, from its 7.6 L/100 km rating. At our price setting, it costs about $11.78 to drive 100 km.

Good uses for the Summit

It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

What to expect from the Summit

As a wagon, it has the length of a car with a bigger load space at the back. Its 311 litres of luggage space fit about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Can you rent one?

There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Your offer shows any delivery fee before you pay.

What you need to rent

We rent to drivers aged 18 and up who hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.

Booking made plain

To get started, send a request for the car and dates. You are not charged for it. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. Your card is charged only when you approve the offer.

Every car has its own daily, weekend, weekly and monthly rate. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.

Make a request

When the dates are set, a request gets you a real price.
