Luup alternative and the 1997 Eagle Vision
Renting the 1997 Eagle Vision as a rental car works like any rental with us: a free request, an offer, then the keys. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.
Specs, explained
It uses the 3.3L 6-cylinder and front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.
The combined figure, 11.8 L/100 km, means roughly 35 litres for 300 km. Driving 300 km costs roughly $54.87 at our price setting.
Is it right for your trip?
It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.
What to expect from the Vision
A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. Luggage space is rated at 481 litres: a family's bags for a long weekend.
Getting this car from us
Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.
How renting with us works
Pick your car, enter your dates and send the request. That is all you do at first, and it is free. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. Approve it and the car is booked; decline it and nothing happens.
The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. A booking can be a single day or up to 365 days. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.
What you need to rent
At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.
For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.
Your move
Tell us your dates and where you want the car, and we will do the rest.
