Driver requirements
You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.
Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.
The booking steps
Requests come first at CarmaCars. You name the car and the dates, and we take it from there. Our team answers with an offer: the confirmed car, the dates and the full price. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.
Each listing shows the daily, weekly and monthly rate of that car. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
