About the 2016 Fiat 500
Here is the 2016 Fiat 500, for anyone after a rental car. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.
Under the hood
The powertrain to know here is the 1.4L 4-cylinder, with front-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.
Combined fuel use is 7.0 L/100 km: about 21 litres for 300 km. Driving 300 km costs roughly $36.75 at our price setting.
Who the 500 suits
It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.
What the 500 is like
As a sports car, it puts the driving first and the luggage second. Luggage space is rated at 198 litres: about a large suitcase and a couple of soft bags.
Renting it
Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.
What we need from you
The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.
Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.
From request to keys
Booking starts online: pick the car, set the times, and send the request at no cost. We look at the request and send back an offer with the price for your exact dates. You pay only once you approve the offer.
Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. Book one day, one week, or up to 365 days at once. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.
