The rules, briefly
You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.
Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.
